Our Mission

The Michael and Mechelle Epps Foundation is a 501©3 non-profit organization established in 2010, dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk youth nationwide. The Foundation’s mission is to strengthen, expand, and enrich opportunities for at-risk youths between the ages of 10 through 21 in becoming responsible and contributing members of their communities.  The Foundation has developed a comprehensive approach in creating the most positive impact on reconnecting these targeted youths both now and into their adulthood.  Unique initiatives include enhancing after-school learning opportunities, programs focusing on the improvement of the quality of one’s life through promoting one’s self and expanding participation in the arts, culture, and sports at home in school and on an individual level. By recognizing the talents and abilities of these at-risk youths, the Foundation deems the outcome will alter the course of troubled lives and youth development.  Building genuine hope through youth – creation not destruction.
